Biography
Elizabeth was born in 1791. She was the daughter of Spencer Ball and Elizabeth Landon Carter. She passed away in 1855.
She married William Fitzhugh Carter on 5 March, 1807 in Westmoreland, Virginia. Their children were John Spencer Carter (1807–1825), Elizabeth (Carter) Birch (1811–1897), Louisa Fitzhugh (Carter) Taliaferro (1815–18760), George Fitzhugh Carter (1819–1904), Alfred Ball Carter (1823–1901), Cassius Carter (1825–1856) and Mary Adeline (Carter) Thornton (1831-1876).
Elizabeth passed away on 16 January, 1855 in Mountainview Park, Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland, Maine followed with burial at the Carter Family Cemetery in Herndon, Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. [1]
