WILLIAM ARTHUR BALL
On Monday, August 12, 1974 at the Castlegar and District Hospital, Mr. William Arthur Ball, aged 84 years, beloved husband of Mary Eunice of 1109-5th Ave. South, Castlegar, B.C. passed away. Funeral service was held at the Chapel of Castlegar Funeral Home, Friday, August 16 with Rev. Klein officiating. Interment was at the Park Memorial Cemetery.
The late Mr. Ball was born in London, England, June 1, 1890, came to Southern Ontario when he was four years old, he later moved to Manitoba and married Mary Brady in Harrowby, Manitoba where He farmed prior to moving to Trail, B.C. in 1943, where he took up employment until retirement at age of 65 years. Besides his wife, Eunice Mary; two sons, Gordon of Nakush, B.C. and Kenneth from Portage la Prairie; two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Benson, Santa Monica, Calif. and Mrs. Sam (Marion) Belhoff, Nakush, B.C., he was predeceased by on son Ronald in 1961.
