Elizabeth McPherson Barclay (married name Braun) was born on 21 February 1885 in Walhalla, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Arthur Robert Barclay and Barbara (Smith) Barclay.^[1]

She married Henry Thomas Braun in April 1907 in Victoria.^[2] Their children were:

• Donald Francis Braun (1908–1977)^[3]
• Norman Henry Braun (1909–1972)^[4]
• Violet Braun (1916–?)^[5]

Elizabeth McPherson died on 9 June 1960 in Bendigo, Victoria, aged 75 years.^[6]
