Biography

Barnett Henry Barnard was born in Exeter in 1863, he was the son of Asher Barnard and Rebecca Nathan ^[1]

He married Ellen Mary Hannah Johnson in Canterbury on 23 October 1884. Barnett was aged 21, a tailor, and the son of Asher Barnard, a glass and china merchant. Ellen was aged 19, and the daughter of Henry Thomas Johnson, an auctioneer. ^[2]

Barnett died in Gosport on 31 August 1935, he was 72 years of age. ^[3], he left an estate valued at £4,397 2s 2d. ^[4]
