Biography
Nancy Barrett was most likely the daughter of "I T Barritt" ("I. Thomas Barrett" in some Ancestry trees) who appears in the 1832 Wolfe Island census as head of a household of 11 persons. This was 2 years before Nancy's marriage to James Samuel Davis:
1834: Year of Nancy Barrett's marriage to James Samuel Davis, whose much older brother Peter Davis had married Dorothy Barrett 20 years earlier. Dorothy was probably the older sister of Nancy Barrett.
