RUTH BARRY MERO

RUTH BARRY was born probably on February 17, 1827, at Bayham, Middlesex County, Ontario, Canada. She was Baptized Wesleyan Methodist on May 14, 1848. She was the daughter of RHODA HOWE and DANIEL BARRY.

On December 31, 1843, at Bayham, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada, she married ANTOINE or ANTHONY MERO born in 1811 at Richmond, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of FANCIA or FANNA (MNU) and JOHN MERO.

Their children were

1. ELLENOR M. MERO TRIBE WOOLLEY (1844–1923)
2. CHARLES MERO (1849–1907)
3. JOHN MERO (1849–1917)
4. DANIEL EUGENE MERO (1851–1918)

RUTH MERO died presumably in Elgin County, Ontario, however, that is unconfirmed (she and Anthony had at least one grown child living in the U.S. during their later years) She died on an unknown date and is buried in a currently unknown location NOTE There is a date of 1862 with a location of Bayham
