Alma Marie Bartscher was born on July 27, 1870, in New York.
At the age of about 30, Alma married John Howard Taylor in 1900, when he was about 30. They had no children.
In 1904, they applied for a U.S. Passport while residing in Milford, New Haven, Connecticut.[1] In 1905, Alma applied for a U.S. Passport while she was in Geneva, Switzerland.[2] In 1910, the couple lived in a Fifth Avenue hotel in Manhattan, New York, New York, with occupation listed as "own income."[3] In 1913, they registered with the consulate in Paris, France, where there were temporarily residing.[4] In September 1914, they arrived in New York on the S.S. Flander from Le Havre, France.[5] In 1920, they were living in Manhattan, New York, New York.[6]
John died in July 1926. Alma died on May 16, 1933, in Manhattan, New York, New York.[7]
