Biography
Therese was born in 1874 in Augsburg, Germany.
She emigrated to Canada, arriving at the Quebec seaport 11Jun1940 aboard the ship Antonia.
In July 1940, Therese was living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. 17Jul1940 she travelled to the port of Seattle, Washington en route to visiting her daughter Maria Altmann for 10 weeks in Fall River, Massachusetts. The Canada/US border crossing manifest includes reference to son Leopold Bentley (he paid for the ferry) as her nearest relative in Canada. This was Therese's first trip to the United States.
She passed away in 1961.
