Jeremiah Beath was born on 1 January 1770 in Boothbay, Maine. His parents were Jeremiah Beath and Elizabeth (Cowden) Beath[1].
He married Sarah Stewart on 3 November 1796 in Bristol, Maine[2]. They had fourteen children[1]:

3. Elizabeth, born 13 Feb 1801; died 1827
4. Martha, born 11 Oct 1802; married Josiah Staniels
5. Nathaniel, born 10 May 1804; married Mary Tibbetts
6. Mary, born 11 Dec 1805; married William Woodward
7. Anna Matilda, born 13 Aug 1807; married Wales Morton
8. James Thompson, born 4 Dec 1809[3]; married Mary Wylie
9. Joel, born 21 Oct 1811; married Mary Sales Adams
10. Margaret Jane, born 17 Jul 1814[4]; married John Graupner
11. Eunice, born 14 Mar 1816; married George French
12. Nancy, born 19 Oct 1818; married George French (2nd wife)
13. Jonas, born 20 Apr 1820; died 1843
14. Sophia, born 11 Jun 1824; died 1843
Jeremiah died on 15 November 1835 in Boothbay[1] and is buried in Kenniston Cemetery[5].
