Biography
Phillis Ireme (or Irene) was born in 1915. She was the daughter of Albert Benjes and Esther Smith. [1]
In 1939 she married Hector Henry Henderson. [2] He passed away in 1950.
She passed away in 2002. [3]
Research Notes
Her middle name is spelt "Ireme" on the birth registration and on her husband Hector's death notice; but "Irene" on the marriage and death registrations.
The death notice for Harry Maynard Hawkins (1908-1986) says "brother-in-law of Phillis and Gordon Henderson"; did she remarry? Or was the notice unclear and Gordon is someone else?
