Biography

Lloyd D Bennett served in Co. D, 39th Iowa Volunteer Infantry. ^[1]

He enlisted 24 November 1862, and was discharged in June 1865.in 1890, and in 1900,he was living in Nebraska. ^{[2] [3]}

Lloyd D. Bennett married Margaret Louise Duke. Lloyd served as a Captain in the Union Army during the Civil War with Co. D, 39th Iowa Volunteer Infantry. Lloyd and Margaret are buried together in Sunnyside Cemetery, Long Beach, California. ^[4]

Lloyd died 21 February 1921 at 715 W. 3rd, Long Beach. California. ^{[5] [6]}
