Biography
Isaac Bergen was elected as minister in the Sommerfelder Mennonite Church at Lichtenau, Manitoba in 1885 and ordained by the late Elder Abram Doerksen. Rev. Bergen preached 1,353 sermons, officiated at 150 funerals and at 107 weddings. Isaac Bergen wurde in 1885 als Lehrer in der Sommerfelder Gemeinde gewaehlt. -Geneology of the Bergen Family, 1979[1]
