Biography

William Berry was the third known child of William Berry and Susannah (Robertshaw) Berry.[1][2]

Birth

He was born in Rawtenstall, Lancashire, England and his birth was registered between January and March 1872.[1][2]

Marriage

William Berry and Lily Ashworth were married between October and December 1898 in the registration district of Haslingden (Lancashire), England.[3]

Residence

  • 1881 (with his parents) at 77 Bank Street, Rawtenstall, Lancashire.[2]
  • 1891 (boarding) at Hay Street, Rawtenstall.[4]
  • 1901-1911 (married) at Prospect Hill, Rawtenstall.[5][6]
  • 1924 at Holmefield House, Rawtenstall.[7]

Probate was granted 9 July to his widow Lily Berry and children Susannah (Berry) Lewis and Edward Berry.[8]
