Biography
He was a widowed engineer when he married Ida Steeves.
Research notes
There is a discrepancy in the name of his mother. His marriage record to Jane Steeves shows his POB as Prosser Brook and his parents as John A. Berry and Mary E. Berry, while his marriage record to Ida Steeves shows his POB as Turtle Creek and parents to be John and Isabella Berry. In other words, there could be two Milledge Berrys. There is no doubt that the women were sisters.
The Steeves Descendants has his parents as Mathias Berry and Delila Ricker. It also contains both wives.
There was another Miledge (1846-1906). https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/MZ9Q-KHL This one was the son/of Mathias. E.C.Wright made a mistake.
