George Bewley was born in Pennsylvania on the 19th of December, 1851 to Charles Bewley and Kezia Eagle.

Death
He died on the 16th of May 1925 in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and he would be buried in the Churchtown United Methodist Church Cemetery in Churchtown, Pennsylvania[3]
GEORGE BEWLEY[4] George Bewley, of Churchtown, died early Saturday morning i the Lancaster General Hospital. He was 73 years of age and death was due to heart trouble. Besides his wife the following children survive: Mrs. Robert Simpson, Ralph, Mrs. Clare Yohn and Mrs. Earl Yohn, Churchtown; Charles, of Catesville; Mrs. Roy Good, Reading; Horace and Mrs. V.C. Brubaker, of California; Philip, Pottstown; George G., of West Chester, and Wayne, of Clearmont, Del. Funearl services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 PM in the Churchtown M.E. church and burial is in the Churchtown Cemetery.
