Dale Bicknell was Killed in Action at Pearl Harbor aboard the USS Arizona during World War II.

Dale was born in 1921, the son of Bert B. Bicknell and Mabel. In the 1930 census Dale (age 8) was the son of Bert B Bicknell on Lundeen Road, Independence, Thurston, Washington, United States.[1] In the 1940 census Dale (age 18) was the single son of Bert B Bicknell in Independence, Thurston, Washington.[2]

Dale enlisted in the United States Navy and was assigned to the USS Arizona on 15 May 1940.[3] Seaman 1st Class Dale Deen Bicknell was declared missing in action when the USS Arizona was sunk at Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941.[4]
