Biography

Edward was born in 1788. He was the son of Theophilus Biddulph and Hannah Prestridge.

Baptism: 4 July 1788 - Banbury, Oxfordshire, England[1]

He married Louisa Kelly (daughter of Colonel unknown Kelly)

They had four children.

He became a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.). He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Honourable East India Company Service.

He married, secondly, Mary Anne Marriott (daughter of Thomas Marriott) on 28 July 1847 at Leamington Priors, Warwick, England. Mary was 35 years his junior.[2]

They had three children.

Census 1851: Living in Northstoke, Berkshire, England with his wife Mary and two year old daughter Mary. Aged 62.

Occupation: Lt Col East India Com Service Retired

He passed away in 1858.[3]
