Biography

John Bill, 68, passed away on 21 April 1877 in Maryland. He was born on 31 July 1808 in Vermont. He married Miss Charity Burdick in about 1842. She died in 1848. Then in 1849, he married Miss Minerva S. Smith.

Mr. Bill was survived by: his second wife, Minerva. b. 1829; children, John F. Bill, b. 1857; Mary "Dolly" M. (Bill) Bland, b. 1854; Lura Ella (Bill) Weller, b. 1869; William M. Bill, b. 1871; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; first wife, Charity, 1822-1848; and children, Lucy M. Bill, 1861-1863; and infant, Robert S. Bill, 1868-1868.

John is buried at the Plainfield Township Cemetery, Plainfield, Will, Illinois. The Findagrave memorial ID is 9192447.
