Biography
Andrew William Birchall was born on 12 April 1831 in Manchester, Lancashire, England.[1]
He was married to Harriet Ward in 1856.[2] Their children were:[1]

- Grace Walch Birchall (1864–1953)
- Alfred James Birchall (1870–1870)
- Ernest Charles Birchall (1870–1870)

- Louis Oswald Molyneaux Birchall (1877–1882)
Andrew died on 22 June 1893 in Tasmania, Australia, aged 62 years.[3][4][5] His remains were buried at Charles Street Cemetery in Launceston, Tasmania.[1]
