He married Susan Belscher in 1858 in Reading, Berkshire, England[4]
He was living with his wife and children in Medmenham, Medmenham, Oxfordshire, England and he was working as a general labourer in 1871[5]
He was still living with his wife and children at Medmenham Village, Medmenham (Bucks), Oxfordshire, England and he was working as a general labourer in 1881[6]
