Biography
Sarah Evelyn Jessie Birtles, known as Evie was born in 1912. She is the eldest daughter of Peter Birtles and Hannah Dowie. Evie was just 13 when her mother passed away in 1924. In 1935, Evie married Thomas Taylor. Two children were born during their marriage, a son and a daughter. In 1984, Evie Taylor passed away age 71 and is buried at Oamaru Lawn Cemetery on June 9.
