Biography

Arthur Albert Wilhelm Drephal, son of Emma Drephal and apparently a man whose given name is unknown but surname is Blake, was born 23 March 1903 in Milwaukee, and baptized on 14 October 1903 in Black Creek, Outagamie, Wisconsin, United States. Baptismal sponsors were Wilhelm and Albert Drephal, Auguste Gillet. [1]

Research Notes

Child uses mother's surname and is identified as her brother on the 1910 census, where Emma is living with her parents and one brother. The surname Blake for the father is listed on Family Search but unsourced. I'm guessing the name of the father was provided by family members uncredited.

Sources

  1. Baptism of child Arthur Albert Wilhelm Drephal: Church record book, St John Evangelical and Reformed Lutheran Church, Black Creek, Outagamie, Wisconsin, United States, 1871-1903, page 124, item 1. "Arthur Albert Wilhelm Drephal, baptism, 1903." Copy of the church record book is available on the local history shelves at the public library in Seymour, Outagamie, Wisconsin, United States, and from microfilm at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah.
