Biography

David was born on 7 May 1777[1] in Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States. He was the son of Jonathan Blake Sr and Mary (Brown) Blake.[2]

David married 1st, Eleanor Seavey[2] 20 September 1801.[1] The couple had at least eight children;[2]

  2. Deborah Blake, (1805 - 1870)
  3. Almira Blake, (1807 - 1882)
  4. Mary Blake, (1810 - 1887)
  5. Lucinda Blake, (1813 - 1830)
  6. George T Blake, (1815 - 1887)
  7. Jonathan Blake, (1817 - ? )
  8. Sally Blake, (1819 - 1841)

Eleanor died 4 March 1826[3] and David married 2nd, the widow Betsy Dearborn.[2]

David died at the age of 59 on 17 March 1837 in Hampton, Rockingham, New Hampshire,[2] and was buried at Ring Swamp Cemetery in Hampton.[1]
