John Henry Blakeslee was born 8 Dec 1872 in Dallas, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, USA. His parents were George Blakeslee and Mary Watson.

He married Clara Isabella Miller (1874–1947) with whom he had 10 children.

John died at age 66 in May 1939 in Hazleton, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.[1] He was buried in Saint John's Cemetery, Saint Johns, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, USA.[2]
