Biography
Marie Louise Rosalie Blanchette was born on 30 May 1792 and baptised on 2 June 1792 in Saint-Denis parish, Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu, Province of Québec. Her parents were Jean Moîse Blanchet and Marie Magdelaine Charlebois. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Joseph Goddu the younger [sic] and Marie Magdelene Baron Lebrodeur.[1]
At age 22 Marie Louise Blanchette married François (Auge) Robert, widower of Magdeleine Touche dite Lafleur and son of Charles Robert and Marie Françoise (Faneuf) Phaneuf, on 17 October 1814 in Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire parish in Saint-Hyacinthe, Lower Canada.[2]
