Biography

When Huldah Blatchley was born on September 17, 1752, in Guilford, Connecticut, her father, Moses Blatchley, was 30, and her mother, Huldah Munger, was 32. She married Ephraim Stannard on September 6, 1774, in her hometown. They had at least eight children during their marriage. She died on June 20, 1806, in Westbrook, Connecticut, at the age of 53, and was buried there.
