Edward was born around 1797 in Ireland^[1][2]. He was a son of Edward Blewitt and Amelia Duberley. ^[3]

In the 1841 census Edward (age 45+) was in Llantarnam Abbey, Llanvihangel Llantarnam, Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales.^[4]

In the 1851 census Edward (age 60), Not compusmentus insane, was the unmarried brother of R J Blewitt in Abbey, Llantarnam, Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales.^[1]

Edward (age 71) was buried on 26 February 1868 in Llanfihangel Llantarnam, Monmouthshire, Wales.^[2]
