Biography
Mary Jane Blight was born 12th January 1858 at Virginia, South Australia, the daughter of Francis Blight and Mary Trainer. Her birth was registered in the Port Gawler district. [1]
On 3rd December 1879, at the Wesleyan Church, Yarrowie, she married Edward James Smith. Both recorded as 21 years old, their marriage was registered in the Clare district, South Australia, with their fathers being named as George Smith and Frank Blight. [2]
