At the age of 18, Washington and (siblings?) Sarah (17) and Henry (15) were enumerated in home of William McMullen and Caroline in Gadsden, Florida.[1] Caroline might be their mother, possibly remarried.
Not found in 1860 or 1870 censuses.
In 1880 might be the W.M. Blue, dry goods merchant, and Mary Blue (wife, b Nov 1853) and Alma (b Apr 1880) in Smith Co., Texas. (A Henry Blue, right age to match brother above) is on same page.[2]
In 1900, likely the Washington M Blue (b Mar 1831), dry goods merchant, with wife Martha (m abt 1876; b Ala Nov 1853), dau Alma (b Feb 1880), son John H, (b Aug 1882), dau Sarah E ( b Mar 1885), dau Pearl L (b June 1887) in Smith Co., Texas.[3]
He died in 1901 in Smith. O., Texas,, and is buried at Mount Sylvan Cemetery in Smith Co., Texas.[4]
Priscilla Allen added: "We've found graves (which I already knew about) of our grandmother, Sadie Lowe's parents, Washington Muller Blue and Martha Elizabeth Blue in the cemetery at Mt. Sylvan, TX, near Tyler."'
