Biography

Thomas was born in 1819 in Salehurst, Sussex, England.^[1] He was the son of Thomas Blundell and Elizabeth Turley.

Thomas sailed to Australia age 14 with his father and siblings on the ship "Maitland", landing in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.^[2]

On 19 May 1845 Thomas married Margaret Kelso in Sydney^[3] The couple had one son John Thomas, Margaret died in 1849.^[4], and Thomas married again.

On the 22 July 1850 Thomas married Frances Sands^[5] and they had more children together.

Thomas Blundell passed away in 1853.^[6]
