According to the 1861 Census, Frederick Blyth was born at Birmingham, Warwickshire, around 1793. He was baptised in Warwickshire on 30 April 1793. Frederick Blyth's father was Robert Blyth, and his mother was Anne. Frederick Blyth married Elizabeth Spilsbury Kell at Birmingham, St Martin, on 2 Nov 1820. Their son Edmund Kell Blyth was baptised at Snowhill, London, in 1831. In 1871, Frederic Blyth was living with his wife in Hampstead, London.
