Biography

Anne Boardman was born in 1815 in Stretford, Lancashire. She was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Boardman.

She married David Wilson Clarkson in 1839 in Manchester.^[1]

She passed away in 1898 in Sydney, New South Wales.

Research Notes

Her father's name in the death registration is inconsistent with her father's name as given in the bounty index, which seems more likely to be correct given she was alive at the time and whoever the informant of her death was may not have personally known her father. With her husband's full name being given in the death notice, and also in the bounty index, it seems unlikely two different people have been conflated. The bounty index also gives her birthplace, which matches the christening record.
