Frans Olof was born in Visby 27 October 1822 to watchmaker Erik Olof Boberg and his wife Anna Greta Falk.[1]
Frans Olof Boberg did military service at the artillery in Stockholm. He was then posted in Visby as a sergeant.[2] He went back to Stockholm as a sergeant at the horse guards.[3]
Anna Catharina Helena Ahlstedt was registered as family of sergeant F. O. Boberg at the horse guards. (There was a parish book for family at the regiment). They married, 3 November 1850.[4] They had one daughter before the marriage and two daughters after.[5] Frans Olof Boberg died 23 August 1851. At that time two of their four children had died.[6] (They had had a pre-marital son on Gotland, who must have died in infancy).
