Biography
Anna Maria Bogert was born in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, February 2, 1831. She was the daughter of Samuel Bogert and Maria Sarah Yates.
Anna married Philip M. Mettler about 1849. They had six known children - Sarah Amelia, Erskine Washington, John Milton, Mary Cornelia, Izora Yates, and Isabella Bogert.
In 1850, Philip and Anna were living with her father and brother in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania.[1] In 1860 and 1870, the couple was living with their children in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania.[2][3] In 1880, they lived with their daughter and Anna's mother in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania.[4]
In 1900 and 1910, Anna was widowed and living on her own in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania.[5] [6]
Anna reached 82 years of age and died in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania on March 5, 1913.[7] She was buried at Easton Cemetery in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania.[8]
