Daughter of George Alexander Boggis and Mary Ann Cant, wife of Harry Roser and mother of Caroline Frances, Eleanor Kate, Harry George, Mary Louise (married Gerlach), John Stapley, William Richard, Thomas Claver, Joseph Francis, James Lowe, Lillian Hannah, Florence Keziah (married George F J. Ruthig), Edward Andrew Gerlach, John A., and George William Roser.
Obituary - Two days after her son had passed away, Mrs. Caroline Roser, 77 years old, died early Sunday morning at her home, 152 Lakewood Street, where she had lived with her son, George. He died early Friday morning. Mrs. Roser came here eight years ago from Brooklyn. She leaves four sons, William, Thomas, Joseph and Edward, and two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Moebus of Brooklyn, and Mrs. Florence Ruthig of Patchogue. She also leaves 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was a member of the Nassau Chapter of the Eastern Star of Brooklyn and of the Old Glory Chapter of Patchogue. The funeral is to be held tonight at the home at 8 o'clock, the Rev. Hanington Wilson of St. Paul's P.E. Church officiating, with an Eastern Star service, and with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery tomorrow morning.
