Christos was born in 1934. He was the son of Christos and Kathryn Bogiages.[1]
He married Linda McCain, daughter of James and Virginia Scott McCain, in 1958.[2]
Col. Christos Bogiages Jr. was declared dead 11 years after his plane crashed in 1969 during the Vietnam War.

He was declared dead in 1979 after going missing when he was involved in a plane crash in 1969.[3][4][5][1]
His wife, along with two other wives of missing pilots out of Eglin AFB, traveled to Laos in 1971 to meet with Pethrasi Sot, a representative of the Communist Pathet Laos, to attempt to locate their husbands.[6]
