Anne V. Boncyk, 93, of Hermitage, formerly of Youngstown, OH, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020, in her home.
Ms. Boncyk was born August 18, 1927, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Malecki) Boncyk. She was a 1945 graduate of South High School, Youngstown, OH.
Anne was employed by AT&T in California and worked 31 years as a fork truck operator at the former Packard Electric Corp, Vienna, OH. A skilled dancer, she taught classes at the Arthur Murray dance studio in Youngstown.
Anne was of the Catholic faith.
She looked forward to Sunday trips to the casino to play blackjack and enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her best friend of 40 years, Katie Mesogitis and her family; nine nieces and nephews; and 30 great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her siblings, Mearl “Mitch” Boncyk, Lee “Leo” Benson, Helen Cebulak, John Boncyk, Jr., Walter “Koko” Boncyk, Valerie Gozdewich, Aloysius “Al” or “Goat” Boncyk, Anthony “Bally” Boncyk, Mary Pena, and Richard and Carl “Keiska” Boncyk; and several nieces and nephews.
