Biography

Emma Weaver Bonser was born in 1868 at Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. She was the daughter of Seth Bonser and Emma Weaver.^[1]

In the 1871 census, Emma W Bonser was age 2 living at Duddeston & Nechells, Aston, Warwickshire with her father Seth Bonser (39), mother Emma Bonser (39), siblings Erena M Bonser (16), Seth Bonser (12), Lewis W Bonser (9), Cornelius Bonser (6), George Bonser (4).^[2]

In the 1881 census, Emma Bonser was age 12 living at Scholefield St Aston, Warwickshire with her father Seth Bonser (49), mother Emma Bonser (49), siblings Seth Bonser (22), Louis W Bonser (19), Cornelius Bonser (16), George Bonser (14), William E Bonser (6), Amy Bonser (24), Charlotte Bonser (9).^[3]

Edwin Wells and Emma Weaver Bonser married in 1891 at Aston, Warwickshire.^[4] They had one child: Winifred Emma Wells (1892–1899).

In 1939, Emma W Wells (b. 12 Nov 1868) was living at Fern Bank, Tan-yr-allt, Prestatyn, Flintshire, Wales with her husband Edwin Wells (b. 4 Sep 1866), sister-in-law Emma J Whittle (b. 20 Mar 1874).^[8]

Emma's husband Edwin Wells died in 1944.
