Biography
Matilda was born about 1839 at County Dublin, Ireland and emigrated at age 32 to New Zealand and arrival in Canterbury, New Zealand on 8 Feb 1872. She had previously married John Oliver Dewey on 15 Oct 1863 at St Peter, Dublin, Ireland and they had 7 children. Her burial took place in 1897 and her grave and her husband are at Linwood, Christchurch City, Canterbury, New Zealand. Matilda was aged 58 years at time of her death. The Plot no is Block 22 and Plot 215
