Mentioned as lord of Bornival in 1393, 1394.[1] In 1396 and 1397 Philippe, lord of Bornival, Roland de Bornival, Jan de Bornival, their cousin, Franco vanden Dale, husband of Marie de Bornival and Barthelmeus Serarnt, husband of Elisabeth de Bornival, are mentioned as heirs of Jan, lord of Bornival. In 1398 it's specified that Jan is the son of Henrik that is also present, and that Jan was their brother and uncle.[2]
