Biography

Miriam L. Boring was born in Licking County, Ohio on July 9, 1914 to Rollie Boring and Adnah (Ridenour) Boring. She was the eldest of two children and the only daughter born to the couple.

Miriam was raised in Franklin Township, Ohio. Some time between 1920 and 1930, the family moved to Newark, Ohio.

On July 27, 1935 in Licking County, Ohio Miriam married Joe Rinker. The couple initially settled in Newark, Ohio before moving to Jacksontown, Ohio. At some point after 1940, the couple moved back to Newark, Ohio. They did not have any known children.

Miriam passed away in her Newark, Ohio home on December 27, 1996. She was 82 years old. She is buried alongside her husband in Franklin Township Lutheran Cemetery in Newark, Ohio.
