Biography
Emma was born in 1877[1] in Liverpool, Lancashire, England, where she lived with her parents, Richard James Borrows and Mary Rowlinson, in Everton in 1881.[2]
At the time of the 1891 census, Emma lived on Robsart Street in Everton, Liverpool, with Margaret and John Depport – her sister and brother-in-law.[3]
Emma married Henry Richard Rees in Everton in 1897.[4][5] The family lived in Liverpool, where Henry kept a coffee and cocoa room.[6][7] He died in 1918 at the age of 42.[8]
In 1924 Emma married William Jones.[9] He had died by the time of the 1939 register, when Emma lived with her daughters, Lilian and Dorothy, at 124 Richmond Row, Liverpool.[10]
