Thomas was the son of William Boughton) and his second wife Elizabeth Barrington.[1] He was buried 6 May 1558 at Dunchurch, Warwickshire.[2] His will was written 1 May 1558 and proved 22 June 1558.[3] In his will Thomas named
The visitation suggests there may have been additional daughters Ursula and Jane.[1] Also that there were two sons named Edward, which has been confirmed from wills and parish registers.
Thomas was the eldest son and heir but died just two years later and was succeeded by Edward who was still a minor.[4]
There is a marriage of James Banner(?) of Hardwick, Gloucs to Katherine Boughton 30 April 1587.[5]
