François Michel Bourcier, né le 29 juillet 1830 à Marines, était le fils de François Michel Bourcier, cultivateur, et de Marie Catherine Luce. En 1853 il était charretier à Neuilly-en-Vexin. Son père vivait toujours à Marines, sa mère était décédée.
Il a épousé Mélanie Françoise Morigny, domestique, le 25 janvier 1853 à Neuilly-en-Vexin[1].
