Biography

Elizabeth wife of Abraham Crompton died on 11 January 1690/91 aged 37 and was buried in All Saints church, Derby, on 14 January 1690/91.^[1] The memorial inscription in the pavement of the church also commemorates Elizabeth daughter of Mr Luke Whittington, late Alderman of Derby, who died on 2 January 1674/75 aged 6 years.^[2]
