Biography
Christopher was born in 3 February 1837 in Cirencester. His parents were William Crotch Bowly and Caroline. He was registered at the Quaker Meeting House. [1]
In 1851 he was living with his parents William and Caroline and 3 siblings in Cirencester. His father was a 'Mealman'. [2]
On 3 December 1874 Christopher married Sarah Backhouse at Darlington. [3] The couple appear not to have had any surviving children.
In 1881 Christopher (aged 44) and Sarah (aged 29) were living in Cirencester where Christopher was a Cheesemonger. [4]
Christopher died in 1922 at the age of 85. His death was registered in Cirencester. [5]
