Biography

Esther Boyes was born in 1883 in West Kempsey, New South Wales, Australia, daughter of George Thomas Boyes (1854–1935) and Annie (Rowe) Boyes (1858–1937).[1]

She was 4th born of her known siblings were:

Esther (18) married Herbert J P Hall (1901) in 1902 in Bellingen, New South Wales. [2]

Esther died in 1929 in Marrickville, New South Wales, aged 45.[3]

We regret to chronicle the deathof -Mrs. Esther Hall, wife of Mr. Herbert Hall (brother of Mr. A. H. Hall, Macksville), which took place at her late residence, Illawarra, streeT, Marrickville, on the 7th. The deceased lady was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Boyes, now resident at Kempsey, but well known on the Nambucca. -Sisters are Mrs. A. A. Teague (Macksville), Mrs. T. Saul . (Sevenoaks) , Mrs. R. Wilkes (Warrell Creek), Mrs. Frost (Warrell Creek), Mrs. Lawson (East Kempsey) ; 'brothers are Messrs. Bert Boyes (Kempsey), W. Boyes (Macksville), Frank Boyes (Sydney), Lester Boyes (Maeksville) ;. daughters - Mrs. R. Mitton (Newcastle), Misses Melba, Brenda and Audrey Hall (at home) ; sons — Oswald, Neville and John Hall (at home).
