Geoff Swinfield’s “English research on the ancestry of Theophilus Wilson and allied Boys and Ower families”, dated 2002 and 2003, Mss 1087, can be found in the R. Stanton Avery Special Collections at NEHGS Library. On page 2 of his report dated 23 June 2003, Swinfield explains that in the pedigree collection at The Society of Genealogists he found a pedigree compiled by George J. Blake. The pedigree was donated in 1997 by J. C. Kennett as part of the George John Blake Bequest, “clearly in a modern hand”. It extends the pedigree of the Boys family back to John de Bosco (died in 1096) who may have been the son of Richard de Bosco. That pedigree appears to be the source of the information in the attached photo (Boys-106.jpg) which has the notation “A fuller copy of this Pedigree can be seen in the British Museum”.
