Orphena married Franklin McClellan Stiffler (born on 21 Aug 1861 in Green Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, United States; son of Samuel Earnie Stiffler and Catherine (Stahl) Stiffler).

Obituary

Mrs. Orthena Braughler Stiffler, aged about 63 years, wife of Frank Stiffler, a well known resident of Uniontown, this county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Deacon Lockard, of near Cherry Tree, with pneumonia, on Tuesday of last week. She contracted the disease while a guest in the Lockard home. Mrs. Stiffler was a daughter of Samuel Braughler, of near Cherry Tree, and spent practically her entire life in that section. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. She leaves her husband, her aged father and these children: Mrs. Emerson Stewart, of Big Run; Mrs. Cecil Christie of Clymer; Mabel, Katherine and Louise Stiffler, at home; Samuel who resides in California; Don, of Washington, D.C., and William Stiffler, of New York. These brothers and sisters are living: Mrs. Addie Mechlin and Mrs. Bert Mikesell, of Emeigh; Mrs. Francis Garman, of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. James Wilson, of Clearfield county; Thomas Braughler, of Greenville, Pa.; Jesse Braughler, of Emeigh, and Harry Braughler, of Cherry Tree. Funeral services were held at her late home on Friday by Rev. Anderson, and burial was made at Uniontown. Indiana, PA: Indiana Weekly Messenger, issue of Thursday, 18 November 1926, p. 1, col. 2
