Biography

Birth

Ann Lane was born in about 1655, possibly in London. She was the daughter of James Lane.^[1] Her mother was Ann (___).^[2]

Marriages

She married first John Bray of North Yarmouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony, in about 1675. They had an unknown daughter together, and John died before 1678.^[1]

She married second on 17 January 1677/8 Zachariah Shed in Billerica.^[3][4][5]

Death

Ann Shed, along with two of her daughters, Hannah and Agnes, was killed by Indians in an attack on her home in Billerica on 1 August 1692.^[1][6][7]
